Introducing Pads 7 (Guitar Pads) // Available Tuesday, December 12

Pads 7 are made almost entirely of guitar swells for a unique take on Pads. They work the same way as our other (synth based) pads do, but have a different texture and flavor.

With Pads 7, you actually get two sets of Pads. They come in two versions: Ambient and Guitar Only. The Ambient version includes more delay and reverb for a bigger, more expansive sound, while the Guitar Only version is more focussed with a lot more of the raw guitar sound present.

Use the Guitar Only pads when you want more sonic space, or blend them with previous pads sets for a whole new sound!

Pads 7 will be priced at $14.99 (includes both versions)

These audio previews are 3 minutes in length, but the Pads themselves are 20 minutes long. Feel free to play along to these previews on guitar (or keys or any instrument) and experience just how much they can add to your sound.

Thank you for coming out with innovative pads to help us with transitioning and layering in our songs. Is it possible to create some piano pads. It’d be nice to have some pads at the beginning of service, with the piano playing a few chords on the 1 chord, with some ambience behind it. This would be helpful when I don’t have a piano player and would help with prayer times, altar calls and such. I’d love to plug a pad like that into my Loop Prime app and fire it right after a song or to start service. Just a thought. 🙂

      That’s a great idea Adam.

Hey Adam – do you mean something like a song without lyrics? Have you check out our bumper music products? Specifically, Volume 2 might be what you’re looking for.

Brian, God bless you for all you do for us. I lead worship at a small church in rural Idaho with acoustic. I use your previous versions of pads all the time! These NEW pads are definitely going to be in my iPad as soon as they come out thanks again.

      Awesome – thank you!

Can u send these to my iPad and will they work using my iPad.

    • Brian Dec 8, 2017 at 10:53 pm #

Hi Keith – Pads are simply mp3 files, so they’ll work with any iOS device. You’ll just need to transfer them with iTunes.

Does this work with line 6 helix?

    • Brian Dec 8, 2017 at 10:54 pm #

Hey Kevin – Pads are simply mp3 files. You could technically send them through the Helix by using the Aux input (from a computer or device or something), but they are not meant to be like a patch or something you play with a guitar. We made them using guitar swells, which is why the name is “Guitar Pads”.

How many different pads are in the set? Is it one pad (same exact sound) in all the different keys? Or more than one pad sound?

    • Brian Jan 25, 2018 at 12:55 pm #

Hi Bobby – it is one sound in all 12 keys. Pads 7 actually includes two versions – one with a bit more verb and delay, but the difference is subtle.
