Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) is one of the first songs I ever remember hearing that took an old hymn and modernized it with a new chorus. Great song, and pretty easy to play as well.

    hey man this is awsome im the drummer at my church funny that there are two more drummers but no guitar and the drummers wanna play so i am branching out to guitar so as to allow others to play drums this is awsome i will perform this sunday so ive got 7 days to learn it you will b the instrument by which i accomplish this and you made it easy. thankx 4 your time in putting it together.
